This article will cover how to find the log files for the Workplace Desktop for both Windows and Mac. Typically needed when raising support requests related to Workplace.
Requirements
- A Workplace Customer
- The Workplace Desktop agent installed
The Process
Windows
- Click the Workplace Desktop lock icon in your Taskbar. It is located near the Clock
- Select About
- Right click in the Agent Information area and choose Copy Logs to Desktop
This will create a ZIP file of the logs on your Desktop which you can then send to support@manageprotect.com when needed.
Mac
- Open your Finder
- Click on the Go Menu in your Menu bar
- Select Utilities
- Open Terminal
- Type open dwp:allfiles
This will create a ZIP file of the logs on your Desktop which you can then send to support@manageprotect.com when needed.
