Description
This article will cover what the Advanced Email Signature and Disclaimer add-on to MPmail is and what you are required to have to set it up.
At this time please reach out to your Partner Manager if you have interest in this add-on.
Requirements
- MPmail customer
- Exchange server setup to send emails via MPmail smarthost
- At least one Group setup in the Control Panel. Please see How To Create A Group
- LDAP enabled in MPmail Control Panel. Azure AD with Office 365 will work here, please see How To Setup LDAPS With Azure Active Directory
The Process
Advanced Email Signature and Disclaimer controls the automated provision of email signatures and disclaimers. This can be integrated with your Active Directory using LDAP so all changes are adapted to the signature quickly.
There is a web interface with a WYSIWYG editor to create signatures for the whole company or individual departments.
You can insert current HTML signatures using the Source Code window
As the Signature is appended in the cloud it will mean all Emails from mobile devices will retain the company signature.
You must have LDAP enabled to be able to provision this service. If you are using Office 365 you will need a paid Azure subscription to setup LDAPs.
If you do not want to go with a paid Azure instance then please reach out to our support team who will be able to assist in getting you setup with a free option running through our MPexchange servers. Please note that the free version setup by us will need to be maintained manually as you create more users in the Office 365 tenant.
