Description
In order to send emails outbound via the MPmail SMTP relay, a valid SPF record will be mandatory from January 2025.
All customers must implement the above changes by then. If the changes are not in place after the deadline, senders will be deferred or rejected.
Activating a proper SPF configuration is a crucial step towards full DMARC compliance, which not only improves your outbound email delivery but also strengthens your inbound email security, providing protection against phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and other sophisticated spoofing attacks — we are committed to helping all our customers achieve this enhanced level of email security.

The Process
Your SPF record may not be just the MPmail service. The SPF record should include every service that will send emails from that domain. As well as the mail server they may use a email marketing service, their accounting system may send emails as the domain.
MPmail may be only one of the requirements for the SPF record. Manage Protect support have no way to determine what other services you may be using, and can only help configure the MPmail component of your SPF record.
Any service that is sending emails via MPmail's outbound relay are required to have the include
include spf.mpmailmx.com
in the SPF record.
For further details on setting your SPF record, please refer to the following guide:

If SPF records are not configured.
- SPF record configuration: Senders must configure SPF records to send outbound messages over the MPmail infrastructure. Misconfigured senders will be deferred.
- Domain configuration in the Control Panel: Senders must configure and verify all sending domains in the Control Panel. Misconfigured senders will be first deferred (for 30 days) and later rejected.
